Tours of the Royal Palace and Oscarshall

The Royal Palace in Oslo is open to the public during the summer. All visitors must follow a guided tour. The tours last about one hour and begin every 20 minutes. Most tours are in Norwegian, but tours in English are also given every day. We recommend bying tickets online beforehand, as only a few tickets are available at the door. The 2017 season lasted from 24 June until 17 August.

The summer palace Oscarshall is also open to the public during the summer season. Tickets are available on site. All visitors are free to walk in the park surrounding the palace or to visit Queen Joséphine art café during opening hours. The 2017 season lasted from 13 May until 17 September.

Queen Sonja Art Stable opened in the old Palace Stables 4 July 2017. The exhibitions vary between art and objects from the Royal Collections. Tickets are available on site.
