Advent service in the Palace Chapel
"Thank you for joining us here in the Palace Chapel. This year we wanted to celebrate Advent with all of you. I hope you enjoy sharing this service with us."
Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra welcomed viewers to the Palace Chapel on the fourth Sunday in Advent. The King and Queen were in attendance together with the Crown Prince and Crown Princess and their family. Oslo Bishop Kari Veiteberg and musicians Andreas Stensland Løwe, Frida Ånnevik and Vegard Bjørsmo also took part in the service.

It is the fourth Sunday in Advent. Join in the service in the Palace Chapel.
His Majesty The King concluded the Advent service with a Christmas greeting before the singing of the final hymn, "Fair is Creation":
"Christmas is just around the corner, and many of us will be be celebrating it somewhat differently this year.
Let us all try to take especially good care of each other, and show each other the compassion and kindness that we all need. I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a peaceful holiday season."

Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family was in attendance on the Palace Balcony when the children's parade reached the Palace Square at 10:30 this morning. From there, they could greet more than 26,000 children from 109 schools taking part in Oslo's children's parade this year.
