The Royal Family is deeply saddened to receive the news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away.
“Our thoughts are with His Majesty The King and the members of the Royal Family on the loss of Queen Elizabeth. For nearly a century, Her Majesty devoted her life to the service of the Commonwealth, following the British people through good days and bad, in times of happiness and sorrow. We also send our condolences to the British people,” said His Majesty King Harald.
His Majesty King Harald has decided that a flag will be flown at half-mast from the Palace balcony tomorrow and on the day of the funeral.

Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family was in attendance on the Palace Balcony when the children's parade reached the Palace Square at 10:30 this morning. From there, they could greet more than 26,000 children from 109 schools taking part in Oslo's children's parade this year.
