A Mirror of Nature
The exhibition centres around the relationship between man and nature, and highlights the important role of landscape painting in Nordic art history.
A Mirror of Nature displays over 100 of the most well-known landscape paintings from Norway and the other Nordic countries, and is the result of a cooperative effort over several years between the national galleries in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
The most important room in the world
“The most important room in the world” was a gift to the United Nations from Norway in 1952. On Friday evening, Her Majesty The Queen introduced the digital exhibition on the design of the UN Security Council Chamber.
