Christmas photos at the Palace
The Royal Family was gathered at the Palace yesterday to have their photographs taken for Christmas. The family was photographed in the Red Parlour listening to Her Majesty the Queen reading a fairy tale.

King Harald and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Marius Borg Høiby, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus were all present.

Still photos and a short film were shot, and may be viewed to the right. The film has also been published on the Royal House of Norway’s official channel on YouTube.

Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family marked Norway’s Constitution Day in both Asker and Oslo, and was present on the Palace Balcony as the whole country sang the national anthem of Norway at 13:00 pm.
