Dignity Day at Ruseløkka School

On 20 October His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon attended the observance of Global Dignity Day at Ruseløkka School in Oslo. The Global Dignity Movement focuses on the the universal right of every human being to lead a dignified life.

All human beings have the capacity to enhance the dignity of other people’s lives, and in doing so, enhance the dignity of their own. Global Dignity Day is observed on 20 October in more than 20 countries throughout the world.

Global Dignity is an autonomous, non-profit and non-partisan project that seeks to be inspiration-based and encourage dignity-centred leadership.

The co-founders of the Dignity Project are Crown Prince Haakon, John Bryant from Operation HOPE, and Professor Pekka Himanen, University of Art & Design Helsinki and Visiting Professor at Oxford University.
