Happy Constitution Day!

It is the Staff Band of the Armed Forces that has the honour of leading the parade. They are followed by the 17th of May Committee, who led in the singing of the Royal Anthem and the Norwegian National anthem before the children entered Palace Square.

According to tradition, schools that celebrate jubilees are awarded the honour of marching at the head of the parade in Oslo. This year three elementary schools celebrate 125 years: Bryn entered the Palace Square first, followed by Grorud and Lakkegata.
