I was deeply saddened on hearing the news about the tragic loss of so many young lives caused by the fire at a nightclub in Santa Maria in the state of Rio Grande do Soul last Sunday.
On behalf of myself and the people of Norway, I extend to you Mrs. President, and to the affected families and to the people of Brazil, my sincere condolences and my sympathy at this difficult time.

Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family was in attendance on the Palace Balcony when the children's parade reached the Palace Square at 10:30 this morning. From there, they could greet more than 26,000 children from 109 schools taking part in Oslo's children's parade this year.
