I was saddened to learn about the severe flooding in the Laender of Nordrhein-Westfalen and Rheinland-Pfalz, that has caused such widespread destruction and the loss of so many lives.
On behalf om myself and of the people of Norway, I am sending you my sincere condolences, and ask you to convey my condolences to those bereaved or otherwise affected by this terrible natural disaster.

Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family was in attendance on the Palace Balcony when the children's parade reached the Palace Square at 10:30 this morning. From there, they could greet more than 26,000 children from 109 schools taking part in Oslo's children's parade this year.
