Surfing in Hoddevik
Today is the official opening of Eurosurf 2017. On this occasion we publish photographs of The Crown Prince and Crown Princess' family surfing off Stad.
The championship takes place at Borestranda, outside Stavanger. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon is part of the Eurosurf committee and himself an avid surfer. An interest he shares with the rest of his family.
In late September, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus went surfing in Hoddevik off Stad:

10 December the Japanese Organization Nihon Hidankyo was presented with the Nobel Peace Prize for its efforts to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons and for demonstrating through witness testimony that nuclear weapons must never be used again.
