I was saddened to be informed about the death of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al-Said.
On behalf of myself and the people of Norway, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you and to the rest of Sultan bin Said al-Said’s family, and ask you to convey my deepest sympathy to the people of Oman.
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your inauguration as the Sultan of Oman.

Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family was in attendance on the Palace Balcony when the children's parade reached the Palace Square at 10:30 this morning. From there, they could greet more than 26,000 children from 109 schools taking part in Oslo's children's parade this year.
