I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic events that unfolded in Seoul this weekend, when so many young lives were lost during what should have been a joyous occasion.
On behalf of myself and the people of Norway, I send you my deepfelt condolences. I ask you to convey my condolences and my sympathy to the bereaved, to those who survived, and to the people of the Republic of Korea.

The Royal Family greeted the Children's parade in Oslo from the Palace Balcony in glorious spring sunshine today. Approximately 120 schools are taking part in the parade this year.
