The exhibition is part of the annual London Design Festival, and offers a unique opportunity to showcase some of the most outstanding features of Norwegian interior design and architecture.

In her opening speech, the Crown Princess lauded designers and manufacturers for working together more closely to materialise their ideas, and pointed out that the design arena has expanded to include new dimensions of functionality in addition to aesthetics. Established traditions and craftsmanship are increasingly being incorporated into the basis for innovation and new design. The Crown Princess also emphasised the importance of integrating environmental thinking into all innovation. Virtually every component of the 100% Norway stand will either be reused or recycled after the exhibition closes.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit is patron of the Norwegian Design Council.
