The Royal House of Norway - English

County visit
Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja began their county visit to Troms 11 June. They are traveling on the Royal Yacht Norway - here about to reach their first stop: Balsfjord municipality. On 12 June they travel on to Kvænangen. These are the two municipalities in Troms County that have yet to receive an official visit from the King and Queen.
The county visit concludes with a visit to Spitzbergen Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 June. Visits to individual counties give Their Majesties an excellent opportunity to meet the people of Norway where they live and work and to gain insight into contemporary life in different parts of the country.
