Travelling in Norway

Travelling around our country meeting people where they live is among the dearest and most important duties of the Royal Family.

The annual county visits are a highlight and last several days. Normally, two county tours have been carried out each year – one for King Harald and Queen Sonja and one for the former Crown Prince and Crown Princess.

– Throughout Norway, we meet people with a deep love for their hometown, their local community, and their fellow citizens.
