Wedding Photography
Photography is permitted in the park surrounding Oscarshall – this also applies to wedding photography. However, we are unable to make special arrangements for such photo sessions.
It is not necessary to seek prior approval from the Royal Court for photography, but we kindly ask that photographers report to the Gatekeeper’s Lodge upon arrival and complete a registration form there.
All photography must take place during regular opening hours (please refer to the fact box for opening times), and must be completed before the premises close for the day.
It is important that photography does not disturb other visitors. Therefore, it is not permitted to set up photo equipment at the entrance or by the rear portal – the area marked in yellow on the map.
It is not permitted to set up for wedding photography within the area marked in yellow.
Parking
Parking is not allowed at Oscarshall – neither inside the grounds nor outside the gate to the palace. Illegally parked vehicles may obstruct other visitors or emergency access, and may be towed away.
Visitors must use the car park at the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History or the designated area by the main road leading to Oscarshall.
