The Court's Staff
The Court's Staff is responsible for human resource management, financial management, information technology and the archives of the Royal Court.
The Court’s Staff is responsible for the general operation of the organisation, for budget matters, accounting, payroll and financial reporting for the Royal Court. It is responsible for ensuring that administrative processes are implemented efficiently, and assists the Royal Court in matters relating to larger-scale procurement.
The Staff is also deals with personnel matters - human resource management - including recruitment, employee and management development, and the coordination of the Court's health, safety and environment (HSE) efforts.
The Information Technology (ICT) Section, and the Royal Court’s Archives are also part of the Court’s Staff. The ICT Section provides the ICT services needed by the Staff, including operation, maintenance and support for internal ICT systems.
The Royal Court’s Archives
The Royal Court’s Archives serve as the Court’s overall documentation centre. Activities include registering and storing all material worthy of preservation. The Royal Court’s Archives cooperate with the National Archives of Norway on the delivery of historical archive material.
The Archives are responsible for documenting the activities of the Royal House of Norway’s at home and abroad, as well as the ongoing activities of the Royal Court throughout the year.
The Staff is headed by chief of staff Tone Rinden Rygh and advises the Royal Family and the Royal Court on matters within its sphere of competence.
