Tonight is the final concert of the Queen Sonja International Music Competition (QSIMC). Her Majesty will be in attendance at the Opera House in Oslo where the five finalists will compete for prestige and prizes.

Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess opened the Norwegian Festival of Literature in Lillehammer this evening. The festival, which is the largest contemporary literature festival in the Nordic region, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

His Majesty continued his visit to the US on Saturday at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Tacoma, Washington. The King received an honorary doctorate from the university, which has close ties to Norway.

Today, His Majesty The King presented the Abel Prize for 2015 to John Forbes Nash, Jr. and Louis Nirenberg for their contributions in the field of partial differential equations and geometric analysis.
