The works of three Norwegian artists are being displayed in a special exhibition at France’s National Ceramics Museum in Sèvres. Today Her Majesty The Queen attended the opening of the exhibition, entitled “Forces de la Nature” (Forces of Nature).

Her Majesty The Queen was in attendance at the opening of “Tone Vigeland: Jewellery and Sculpture” at the Queen Sonja Art Stable today. The exhibition displays works by one of Norway’s best-known jewellery artists.

Yuwon Kim from South Korea was the winner of first prize in the Princess Astrid International Music Competition at Olavshallen this evening. Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner had the pleasure of presenting the prize to the young conductor.

Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess represented Norway today at the funeral of Kofi Annan, former Secretary-General of the United Nations. Mr Annan was laid to rest in a state funeral held in Ghana's capital city of Accra.

His Majesty King Harald presented the 2018 Kavli Prizes at the Oslo Concert Hall this afternoon. The Kavli Prizes recognise scientists for their seminal advances in three research areas: astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience.

The exhibition “TEXTURE” opened Thursday at Galerie MøllerWitt in Århus. The exhibition comprises graphic art works by Her Majesty The Queen and Magne Furuholmen - both in attendance at the opening.
